A Charlotte painting company built on precision
Fresh Coat Painting Co. started in 2011 with one painter, one truck, and a conviction that a paint job should be treated like a finish carpentry job — measured twice, taped carefully, and never rushed. Fifteen years later we're one of Charlotte's most-referred interior and exterior painting contractors, and the standard hasn't changed.
Our story
Founder Marcus Feldman started Fresh Coat Painting Co. in a rented Plaza Midwood bungalow with a single crew and a simple rule: leave every job site cleaner than you found it. Charlotte was growing fast, and so were the number of homeowners frustrated by painters who showed up late, skipped prep work, and left drips on the trim. Fresh Coat built its reputation the slow way — one carefully taped baseboard, one exact color match, one referral at a time.
Today we run several dedicated crews across residential and commercial painting, but the culture is still small-shop: the same estimator who walks your home is the one who signs off on the final punch list. We've painted historic bungalows in Wesley Heights, new-construction homes in Waxhaw, and retail buildouts in South End, and we bring the same gallery-level attention to every one of them. Financing is available for larger projects, and every estimate includes a free, in-home color consultation.

Renee Ostrander
Operations Director
Renee keeps every crew, schedule, and material order on track across the Charlotte metro. She built our color-consultation program and personally trains new estimators on color theory.
Dante Silva
Master Painter & Crew Lead
Dante has led our cabinet refinishing and commercial crews for eight years and holds our in-house certification for spray-finish work. New painters shadow him before running their own jobs.
